La Banquise is a fun-filled family play area located in Tignes Le Lac, offering a unique winter experience for children and families. Open to everyone, this dedicated snow playground is the perfect place to spend an afternoon enjoying outdoor activities in a safe and welcoming environment.

Children can enjoy a gentle sledging slope, designed for youngsters from the age of two as well as older children, while those looking to try something different can have a go on the curling rink. The curling area is suitable for children aged four and above and is open daily from 11:00 to 19:00.

One of La Banquise’s highlights is its charming igloo village, where families can explore snow-built igloos, play amongst the structures and capture memorable holiday photos. The igloo village is open from 09:00 to 17:00 and is recommended for children aged three and over.

There is also an Inuit-themed play area featuring a variety of outdoor games designed to entertain children of all ages. The play area is freely accessible between 09:00 and 17:00.

All attractions are free to access during opening hours, with children remaining under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times. Visitors are asked to respect the facilities by following the on-site safety rules, helping to ensure everyone can enjoy this unique family attraction throughout the winter season.
