1. Critérium de la Première Neige in Val d’Isère: December 14–15, 2024
Just a short trip from Tignes, Val d’Isère hosts the prestigious Critérium de la Première Neige, a highlight of the Alpine Skiing World Cup. On December 14, the Men’s Giant Slalom takes place, followed by the Men’s Slalom on December 15. This event attracts the world’s top skiers and offers an exhilarating experience for spectators.
2. Christmas in Tignes: December 24–25, 2024

3. New Year’s Eve Celebration: December 31, 2024

4. Mountain Shaker: March 8–16, 2025
March brings the Mountain Shaker festival, a week-long celebration of freestyle and board culture. With stages of the Big Air Ski World Cup, Slopestyle Ski World Cup, and Freeride World Tour Qualifiers, this festival showcases some of the top athletes in winter sports. There’s also street art, live DJ sets, and a festival vibe that makes it perfect for anyone who loves winter sports and lively après-ski.
5. European Snow Pride: March 15–22, 2025
The European Snow Pride is a vibrant celebration of inclusivity and fun. With over 600 attendees each year, this LGBTQ+ ski festival includes après-ski parties, themed nights, and the week’s highlight—the Pride Parade on March 20. It’s a colorful event that brings music, joy, and a great atmosphere to the slopes of Tignes.
6. Cultural Season at Tignespace: March–April 2025
From March through April, Tignespace will host its seventh cultural season, featuring a mix of comedy shows, mentalism acts, and theatre performances. It’s a great way to wind down after a day on the slopes and experience a different side of Tignes’ entertainment scene.
